Always wanted to make cloisonné or champlevé, adding more depth and dimension to your enameling? Anat has designed an enameling process that allows you create this technique with a torch or a kiln!

Cloisonné is creating decorative wire designs on your metal, then filling the cells they create with enamel. Create deep, transparent, jewel-like colors. Anat Silvera will cover kiln and torch-fired techniques for creating colorful cloisonné jewelry.

Champlevé is similar to cloisonné, but the cells are created in sheet metal. Saw out and solder designs in metal, and then fill the recesses with brilliant enamels.

Techniques covered:
• torch fired enameling
• cloisonne
• cleaning and wet packing enamels
• stoning and polishing enamels after firing

Kit of materials, full color handout and use of tools included.

*Sterling settings shown are not fabricated during class, but are available for purchase for a fast setting for your creations. One sterling setting is included with the class kit.
