Want to learn how to solder your jewelry? Sample several soldering techniques in this new 3 hour workshop by Joe Silvera, the author of Soldering Made Simple: Easy Techniques for Kitchen Table Jewelers.
You'll learn how to make soldered connections using simplified, professional techniques, an easy to use butane torch and a simple home setup. This class will cover soldering tools, materials, fueling and lighting your torch, and more as students solder a sterling and copper metal charm and a sterling ring.
This is a perfect introduction to a important technique for making jewelry. All demonstrations are magnified live on a flat screen tv so everyone can see the amazing transformation of metal as it flows into joins.
No previous experience required. Open to students of any level.

All materials to make the projects. Each student has a jewelry bench to use during class and tools to use to practice techniques shown.
