Bezels are so beautiful! Put your own unique spin on this classic setting by modifying bezel wire to make your own designs. And use decorative patterned gallery wire to make regal settings for your favorite cabochons.
Why Take this Class?
People love stones! Stones bring a world of color, texture and value to your designs. This is a great workshop to practice and expand on your bezel setting skills. Students will make two complete rings with custom bezel settings during class. Gallery wire requires precision soldering to match the pattern and avoid flooding it with solder. Modifying plain bezel wires will help your jewelry to stand out. In addition, this course will also go over how to add decorative elements around your setting, like wire elements and granules. Two styles of bands will be demonstrated: a wide textured band with texture and a stamped design inside the band, and a tapered square wire band with spirals for a ring that is beautiful on the inside and out.
