Class Instructor: Janice Von Itter

Janice Von Itter

Janice has a MS in Human-Centered Design and has worked as a professional designer for over fifteen years. Her portfolio includes video games, wearable devices, and robots, all of which have an influence in her approach to creating jewelry. Focusing mainly on metal fabrication, she employs a variety of other media and techniques - casting, lapidary, lampwork, enameling, textiles, clay, and paint - to bring one-of-a-kind pieces to life. While not in her studio, she can be found wandering through wild places with her dog, searching for likely rocks to take home and polish into cabochons.
