We are currently accepting applications for four scholarship opportunities. These scholarships are brought to you in partnership with Shibumi Gallery and Bob and Barbara Grabowski, and are aimed towards giving people who are interested in making jewelry the opportunity to get started and to build their skills in two techniques dear to Bob Grabowski - stone setting and lost wax casting. We have extended the application deadline to April 28. Don't be shy to apply!
Scholarship #1: Jewelry 1- Basics
If you haven’t ever soldered, sawn, textured, or polished metal, this is the class for you. A perfect introduction to the world of jewelry making!
Scholarship #2: Stone Setting: Tube, Flush, and Prong
If you’re looking to do more stone setting, this class is perfect for taking you beyond the basic bezel. This class is also your first step to additional stone setting techniques.
Scholarship #3: Lost Wax Casting 1 - Basics
Are you curious about casting and wax working? This is the class for you! Learn wax carving basics and see how the casting process works.
Scholarship #4: Stone Setting Choice
If you have some stone setting experience and basic jewelry skills, but are looking to go further and dive deeper into setting, apply for this scholarship! We will work with your goals to choose one of our stone setting classes that will get you where you want to be.
