File - Half round or Flat

Description

These inexpensive university grade files are great work horses for removing metal quickly and efficiently. Use the flat file for cleaning up joins, etc.

Flat and half round files are required starter shapes for any metalsmith. These are 6" long without the tang for the handle, and a medium machinist cut (Swiss Cut #2)

The use the half round file for filing flat and convex curves with the flat side, concave curves with the half round side. Same size, 6", medium cut.

Also available as a set of both files. Set includes one blue plastic handle shown. I recommend getting an additional handle for the second file and not interchanging them since the fit can wear and loosen if removed too many times.
